About this drama
Defying the ban, Helena sails to the Forbidden Sea for her thesis, meeting sea-god siren Triton. Taking him for a merman, she teaches him songs—unaware they are sacred courtship rituals. He once saved her from drowning and has waited; she forgets. Imprisoned as his mate, her memories return; she loves him. Fearing his pearl harms her, Triton sends her home.
